Syntax Consultancy requires a VMware consultant for a 3 month contract based in the Midlands. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Virtualisation Engineer to carry out all virtual infrastructure installation, configuration and testing in support of the project activities at locations throughout the UK.
The Virtualisation Engineer shall meet the following requirements:
- Extensive experience (min 2 years) Installing, configuring and management of VMWare Virtual Infrastructure vSphere 4 systems.
- Will be certified as a VCP (VMWare Certified Professional)
- Be expert in the installation, configuring and management of VMware virtual infrastructure in a NetApp storage environment and be able to setup VMWare hosts and virtual machines to work with NetApp LUNs, SnapManger for VI and data protection and disaster recovery techniques.
